Hey there, Gents! WE just wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving (or if you're reading this on a later date; we hope you had a great holiday) on behalf of the Fetish Men San Diego leadership team! I (Doriam) wanted to personally say that I am so very grateful for those of you who have inspired me to keep pushing and growing with FMSD. It is with your assistance that I have been so excited to provide for my community.

The Holidays are a time for us to get together and support one another for all that we do. Many men do not have a place or a family with whom to share the holidays with, and we would like to provide a place where we can all come together and share in each others energy. Bring a friend! As this is a social, there will be no formal hard skill training, and we expect men from all sides of the FMSD spectrum to attend!

This is a Dinner Social and we hope that everyone attending be willing to bring a dish (Meats, Salads, Soups, Breads, Desserts, etc.) to share. We hope men will share their stories and build friendships and that we can all sit together for a meal.

There will be a few men present who will be used as serving trays/tables during the event. Scott, Rein and Doriam will be available to handle donations to FMSD and Ticket Sales for our Men's Party!

Hey look! We did the thing where we're scheduling another Male-Only Play Party!

We are back at House of Black this time around, and have reduced ticket prices, in addition to changing some rules around! This party will be co-hosted by two of FMSD's young up-starts, Doriam & Rein! And while this party is BDSM inclined, all forms of Fetish and Kink are welcome, including Sex Play, Voyeur, etc.

As co-hosts, Doriam and Rein will be kicking off the night with an Interrogation Scene!  If you care to know more about these two, here is  quick bio for each of them, and what they'll be celebrating at this party!

• Rein (right) will be leaving for grad-school shortly after this party, and is looking forward to going out with a bang. He is a Dominant with a sadistic-streak, and has harnessed his skills in Single Tailing and Flogging with Papa Tony, in addition to adding tools to his play bag from other San Diego players!

• Doriam (left) will be celebrating his anniversary as a part of FMSD at this party. If you've never seen him play, Doriam is a Switch who plays actively on both sides of the slash. He enjoys dynamic Power Exchanges and several forms of Edge Play (including Fire, Medical and Suspension), but is best known as a Rope Bondage player.

We learned a lot from our last party at House of Black, which has inspired several changes for this party. The first of which is the price, we've reduced the cost of this party to $20/person, these funds will be used to pay for the venue, food and (non-alcoholic) drink - any excess will go in to the FMSD Workshop Fund to keep allowing us to host these parties and workshops!

Additionally, we will be allowing attendees to bring their own alcoholic beverages should they choose to partake. We will be required to take some additional precautions because of this, but it should not limit anyone's enjoyment of the event! For more details, email DoriamFMSD@GMail.com.

For this party, I will be needing a few volunteers. Specifically, I will be looking for 2 Bartenders (basic knowledge preferred), 2 Dungeon Monitors, a Door Person, 2 Ambassadors, and ideally 2 people for Setup/Tear Down (each). I. San Diego Eagle's 15th Anniversary!

All Clubs Weekend at The Eagle

Description: Join us starting on Friday, November 17 at 9:00pm at our cities' last remaining Leather Bar -- The Eagle. Fifteen years since The Eagle opened its doors, and we are now coming together to celebrate our community as a whole! Join our brothers and sisters in leather and kink for a weekend full of demos, fetish wear and community.

Friday evening, many of our instructors and members of our leadership team will be available and demonstrating their favorite kink-based skills! At 10PM that night, there will be a featured performance by the Bad Boyz of Porn!

Saturday, some of us will be at the Eagle again with more demos, but at 10:00pm we will stop and stand in unity with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for their blessing to our community; if you are seeking tribal energy, seeking unity and connection - you don't want to miss this.

This is a little different than my usual From ME to YOU, as this one is a reflection/projection.

Did you know... [My FMSDversary]

My first year as a part of the FMSD Leadership Team has been focused on establishing a firm floor
for us to build upon. A lot of the hurdles this year have been finding venues, becoming visible, and really getting to know You, the membership, and how best I can support your dreams. since December 2016, we have gone from a single discussion night to 3 monthly events, including two Workshops/Discussions, and a demo night at the San Diego Eagle. This does not include our introduction workshops, parties, or cross-over events!

We are now approaching a period in which we can do MORE! We can host a broader spectrum of workshops and events; we have become visible enough that organizations and clubs have begun reaching out to do things with us, venues that had previous said "no, thank you," are now offering their services! Now, to take advantage of those things, we need to do some fund raising.

So here's the deal... [Fund Raising Venture]

At many of our events, we ask for a small donation (usually $5) - however, we do not turn anyone away for not being able to donate! People have asked where this money goes, the answer is: it goes back into the club, it goes in to venue rentals, food and drink, it goes to purchasing supplies and equipment, it goes to giving back to the members in any way we can.

We are still looking for more fund raising ideas, but have settled on a few that we think are great, and we would like to be able to give back to our community in 2018! Our goal is to find a common organization that the membership would like to support and begin donating a portion of our proceeds to that organization!

The first fund raiser we'll be putting on to achieve this is the "Men of FMSD" Calendar! A celebration of the things that make us SPECIAL!

Yes, we know, it's a little on the cliche side. However, we find that there is a strength in men willing to step out of their comfort zone and represent themselves in front of a camera. We are playing with themes, and would love to hear which you might find the most interesting! That list can be found at the bottom of this email.

What I'm saying is... [Men of FMSD]

We are asking you to consider representing yourself as a Man of FMSD. We want men from all walks of life, all ages, all body types and fetishes, men who are submissive, men who are dominant, men who like to fuck, men who like to throw a single tail, men who like the things they like and are unapologetic about that. We want YOU to represent YOU.

Year 2 will be my Year of Service to the members, to my brothers. If I have learned only one thing this year, it is that I have a heart of service dedicated to supporting others, watching them grow as I continue to do so myself. I would love to see and support many of you as grow in to your own power and most confident selves. I hope that you will open your heart to me, and in return I will open mine to you. Join hands with me as we continue build this community together!

Howdy Gents! It's my turn to teach a workshop from the ground up, and this time I will be teaching a skill near and dear to my heart: Bondage! This workshop will cover several types of bondage, including what I've become known for (Shibari/Rope) and some forms of bondage I don't get to show nearly as much to the general public! Before the class, please familiarize yourself with the knot demonstrated in this video, HERE as it will be the primary knot we will be using during the rope bondage section of this class.

"Wait. Did you say SECTION?" -- Why yes, floating head! I did!

This workshop will be divided into parts, including quick and effective rope bondage used to, well, tie your partner down! In addition to the rope section, I will be covering introducing you on how to use less formal objects to bind your partner down in a bedroom or at-home setting for "extra-curricular activities."

You do not NEED to come partnered to this workshop. If you have someone you'd like to play with at this workshop, please invite them, otherwise we will do our best to get hands-on time for everyone!

I will need 3 Demo Bottoms for this workshop. All demo bottoms will be asked to arrive by 2pm or meet with me prior to the workshop to practice/prepare/plan for the workshop. Email DoriamFMSD@GMail.com for details.

All Attendees: You are welcome to bring any toys (dildos, butt plugs, gags, cuffs, etc) you'd like to see used. If you have rope, please bring it. If you have folding chairs, please contact Doriam.

Bondage (Givers): Please bring a tie (like you'd wear with a collared shirt), a belt, and a pillow case with you. Please bring one mundane object you'd like to see used for bondage purposes.

Bondage (Receiver): Please bring condoms and lube. You may decide you'd like to try using one of the toys present for the workshop, and to mitigate risk we ask that bottoms provide their own condoms/lube.

VI. From ME to YOU

With the holidays around the corner, it is a time for us to reflect on the things that make us all thankful and grateful! I look forward to seeing many of you over the next few weeks for several of the events we have coming up, we are hoping to put something together during the Thanksgiving Weekend if we can manage it, so keep tuned!

I do want to share one thing that I personally am thankful for, and it's the continued love and support I get from you all. I could and would not be running FMSD if it wasn't for all of you. It is your dedication to our continued growth that keeps me motivated and wanting to provide more and more. My first FMSD meeting was November 16, 2016 and the first meeting I led was the following month on December 20th! It feels like no time has passed between now and then, but coming up on my one year of leadership has made me reflect on what WE have achieved together; and I value each of you for what you have done to help get us here.

Friday evening, many of our instructors and members of our leadership team will be available and demonstrating their favorite kink-based skills! At 10PM that night, there will be a featured performance by the Bad Boyz of Porn!

Saturday, some of us will be at the Eagle again with more demos, but at 10:00pm we will stop and stand in unity with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for their blessing to our community; if you are seeking tribal energy, seeking unity and connection - you don't want to miss this.
