San Diego Bootblack 2019, Pup Rowdy, will cover the basics of leather care, common problems, and answer your questions on how to restore your beloved gear.

About our presenter:


Pup Rowdy started bootblacking in 2011 and has been a part of the San Diego leather community since 2012. In March of 2019 he won the 5th annual San Diego Bootblack contest. In addition to being San Diego Bootblack 2019, Pup Rowdy is Co-founder of San Diego Pups & Handlers. When he's not honing his leather care skills he can be found whipping up delicious food in the kitchen or snuggling on the couch with his cats.

Cigars & Boots, FMSD Planning, SCaLE Weekend

This will be our first gathering of a new decade!



Everyone is welcome whether you smoke cigars, cigarettes, pipes, vapes or nothing at all. Wear whatever you like but leather, uniforms, levis, rubber are encouraged. Everyone is welcome with open arms. Daddy Barry is the host so please feel free to come up and introduce yourself. Come help us celebrate the New Year with old and new friends.

San Diego Cigars & Boots is held at Pecs Bar at the corner of University and Alabama from 4pm until 7pm on the first Saturday of the month.

Cost: Support the venue, otherwise free.
