The Men's Discussion on Wednesday, August 22nd will be moderated by Aaron Duke. The topic will be BDSM 101: A GOOD STARTING POINT FOR THE NEWBIE AND LESS EXPERIENCED PLAYER. Aaron will cover: Nonverbal communication with gear-armbands, wristbands, collars, top harness, bottom harness, etc., Hankie codes- the common ones, A look through the Big Toy Bag, and, The emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of BDSM - the "why we do it". It starts at 7PM, Upstairs at Pleasures & Treasures, at 2525 University.

Wed. Aug 15, 7PM: KINK CRUSADERS Movie Night at the North Park Birch Theater. You would be wise to check out our heavily updated news. We are greatly honored to have Micheal Skiff, the director of Kink Crusaders joining us at 7PM on Wednesday, August 15th, when the movie is shown SPECIFICALLY in our honor, featuring a Gear Contest with prize values adding up to $875 (judged by several Surprise Guests, and emceed by Mr. San Diego Eagle 2012 Eli). Once again, this would be a very good occasion to get geared up, if you have it, but there is no dress-code required. Bring your ticket-stub to the at the Eagle, at 3040 North Park Way, afterwards (it's only two blocks away), because we're working on getting a drink-special that night. Tell your friends - this will be a very big social event!

Aug 17, 8:30PM-1AM: FRIDAY NIGHT BEAT AND GREET, downtown, hosted by Bryan Teague - American Leatherboy 2010, tiger - Ms San Diego Leather 2010, caryl - San Diego's premier Sea Monkey Trainer, and Mike Underwood - San Diego's very own Curmudgeonly teddy bear. Third Fri. of each month. This is a GREAT educational event if you want some hands-on training in a safe environment.
Sat. Aug 18, 8PM: FLOG FEST in Long Beach. For the first time ever, legendary Flogging Tops from all over Southern California are gathered under one roof to demonstrate, teach and THRILL. A new annual event.
Sat. Aug 18, 9:30PM-2AM: LL Bear Dance Party @ Rich's, at 1051 University. Third Saturday of each month. Lots of leathermen attend this event. Shirtless with a harness appears to be the dress code!
Sun. Aug 19: Kurt's Welcome Back/Thank You Party, leading into SD Leather Pride.
Wed. Aug 22, 7-9PM: MEN'S DISCUSSIONS. Upstairs at Pleasures & Treasures, at 2525 University. This has turned out to be ideal for building friendships by getting to know men outside of the bar/cruising scene. EVERY Wednesday of each month.
