There is a wonderful new event coming up in a week, on Saturday the 9th. Mr. San Diego Leather 2012 Aaron will be hosting a special geared-up event that spans the length of Hillcrest (with free shuttle-service between the bars). The owners and staff of the beloved bars Baja Betty's, Hillcrest Brewing Company, Gossip Grille and Urban Mo's gladly welcome us, and are doing everything they can to make us feel extra-welcome (including gearing-up themselves).
This is a sign of how things have changed in our town. We are an eagerly-sought-after demographic. I urge everybody to SWAMP this event. It's going to be a breakthrough! Let's show our larger community that we are visible and proud! I will be organizing group-hug photos that we can send to James...
Up in San Francisco, they are celebrating Leather Alliance Weekend, starting today. Mr. San Diego Leather 2012 Aaron would be up there already, except he's in the Emergency Room at the moment, getting his appendix removed! Honestly - he should have scheduled it for early September!

Wednesday, Mar. 6, 7PM: Men's Discussions. They have been incredibly satisfying and exploratory, with new friendships growing stronger as a result of some risk-taking in interpersonal sharing. Topic for this week: PLEASE UNDERSTAND ME, with several computers, a printer and an iPad set up, for the most unusual and deep-digging discussion we've ever had!

Friday, March 8th, 10PM: Harness Party at Numbers Bar, at 3811 Park Blvd. The last one was INSANELY well-attended. This truly Tribal, community-supported event is growing at an exponential rate, folks. We have always had the fun-and-friendly-thing, now it's BIG, too.
