I had plumb forgotten that this Friday is also the Men-Only Beat and Greet downtown. Lots of flogging, paddling and any other form of Percussion Play.
Folks who are interested should gather at 9PM at the front entrance of the DMV in Hillcrest at 3960 Normal St. for ride-sharing. Parking is horrid downtown (it's free and very available in the DMV parking-lot), and the experience is more brotherly if you ride-share. Why am I not posting the address? because they don't want random strangers just showing up without friends to vouch for them. It's a small, intimate space.
Worth repeating: A LOT of men have been asking how they can pre-purchase movie tickets to our biggest event ever. The direct purchase link is here, and the cost is ten bucks a ticket, with a service fee of $2. The reason why I am recommending this, is because we filled the theater 2/3 full last time in August, and this time we have a LOT more guys attending, including plenty from out of town.

Our brother James is in Kuwait today, KuWAITing for an exit visa so he can come home to us… He is now permanently away from Bagram in Afghanistan, where they were mortaring the base when he left.
Incidentally, way in the back you can see the Patriot Missile erectors. There are 2 of them. As a 57-year old man, I could use one of those sometimes.
He should be home Monday or so. He is going to need some quiet, private time to unwind and get his feet under him (and to get over some SERIOUS jet-lag from 8,000 miles and 12.5 hours of time-difference away), so let's just let him be for a bit. We will have a nice, big Welcome Home party for him after a couple of weeks.

What emerges is a portrait of the fascinating dynamics that drive the filmmakers’ need to challenge normalcy, the interplay of celebrity and experimentation and the dilemma faced by actors struggling with the idea of performing in a sexually explicit, gay, S&M film. Saturday, June 11: International Mr. and Ms Olympus Leather 2013 is on Saturday, May 11 at the Hilton LAX in Los Angeles, CA; doors open at 7 PM and contest starts at 7:30 PM. We have 11 contestants which is a record high for International Olympus.
Six men and five women will present fantasies on stage. Past Avatar Club Los Angeles president Alan Stroik returns as our emcee and Michael Klyn is back as our ASL Interpreter. Winners' sashes and back patches by Leather Masters.ASL Interpreter provided by Sharon St. Cyr Fund.
